The 2022 Lecture Series will continue on October 22, 2022 at 10:00 am at the Maury County Archives. We will continue with the theme, “Doctors and Lawyers.” The speaker will be Rhonda Hooks.

AAHS Quarterly Lecture Series
Since 2013, the African American Heritage Society of Maury County has scheduled a lecture each quarter. Authors, historians, subject-matter experts, and professors of history from Fisk, Middle Tennessee State, Tennessee State, and Vanderbilt Universities, speaking to diverse audiences, discussed different aspects of African American history, such as activist and politician, the civil war, education, the great migration, and religion.
