The 2023 African American history calendar features African Americans of Maury County who fought for the right to an education, the right to vote, freedom of speech, and freedom of religion from the Reconstruction Era through Desegregation. We hope that it helped viewers to appreciate the struggles and successes of Maury county’s African Americans who worked to advance democracy for future generations.
