The 2024 African American history calendar is dedicated to the coaches who, before 1968, taught their students good sportsmanship while making sure that they had a fun and safe experience when participating in their favorite sport. It features the coaches who transitioned from segregated to desegregated schools in the late 1960s, the longtime middle school coaches, and those coaches who are making history in Maury County today. We hope it helped viewers to appreciate the history of these coaches… wins and losses, and for teaching their students life lessons such as fairness, integrity, responsibility, and respect.
